Lord Ganapati– “The god of new beginnings and remover of the obstacles”. As he is worshiped at the beginning of any rituals or ceremonies the name “Aadi Poojya” is captioned. This dance drama showcases the situations of the birth of ganapati, his curse to the moon God, his bhakti towards his parents Shiva and Parvati and protecting the aatmalinga from Raavana. This act also praises ganapati as “NartanaGanapati”,”Gajavadana”, “Gananaatha”, “Vignavinayaka”, “Lambodara”, “Ekadanta” and so on.
