The word devi is much understood as the “power of goddesses” in different forms like Lakshmi, Saraswati and Durga. Lakshmi is also called as Sri, who is the goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity (both material and spiritual) and she is the consort and active energy of lord Vishnu. Saraswati is the goddess of music, arts, wisdom and learning, and she is the consort of Lord Brahma. Durga is the dynamic &vibrant goddess who destroys the evil demons Chanda, Munda Mahishasura and so on. She is known as protector of dharma and destroyer of evil. “Devi Vaibhava” eulogizes the goddesses through krutis, devaranamas and shlokas that are composed by well-known composers.
