Muktaka are” quatrain”-four lined poems. This dance drama unfolds the truths, values, morals, dharma, social welfare etc. which are reflected through the literature of well-known composers in their Muktakas. The quatrains consist of compositions that exhibit several perceptions like dharma, morals, preaching, nature, society, lives, people etc. As dance is the visual art, music and literature are matched suitably to the thematic production by giving out the visual melodies for Muktakas.
