Vidushi Mithra is one among the privileged artiste of Mysore to have imbibed the beauty of the divine art -Bharatanatyam. Mithra started her initial steps from Vidushi Krishnaveni and continued this flamboyant art form under Guru Vidushi Smt.Kripa Phadke completing her junior, senior and vidwat levels of examinations. Vidushi Mithra pursued the higher level of dance intricacies & techniques from Karnataka Kalathilaka, Shantala Awardee Natyacharya K. Muralidhara Rao. Blessed with classical vocalist of repute as a life partner, Mithra and Naveen continued the journey in this great artistic path. ‘NADA VIDYALAYA’ ® Academy of Music & Dance is an institution shaped by them in Mysore to train and promote the Indian classical fine arts.

Academically Mithra Naveen excels with a Master degree in English & a Master degree in bharatanatyam. Mithra is also a graded artiste of Doordarshan and holds a certificate of vidwat in dance. She has the credit of being an N.C.C cadet of naval wing by participating in its various camps and activities. She has given recitals with her ethereal quality and has won a loud applause by connoisseurs and dignitaries. Mithra has worked as one of the bonifide dance and music resource person for the National training project organized by RIEM-NCERT, Mysore.

Mysore Dasara mahotsava, Karavali utsava, Talakad utsava, jalapatotsava, Pallavotsava, Sarvadhrma sahitya sammelana, Bangalore Yavanika, ISKON-Geetha jayanti, Narasimha jayanti, Vachana Sangeetotsava, Mysore Shopping festival, Bangalore Doordarshan, programs of ICCR, NLHA in Ahmadabad. She was been selected for south zone yuva sangeetha nritya mahotsava held in Rajhmundry, Andhra Pradesh organized by SCZCC-Nagpur.

It is the area of expertise of Vidushi Mithra Naveen to have very ably conceptualized and choreographed several dance dramas as with accordance to the sort of program and theme. ‘Sri Krishna vilasa’, Maheshwara vaibhav’, ‘purandhara daasaamrutha’, ‘Devi Vaibhav’, (On works of Dasa sahitya and great composers), ‘Geetamrutha saara’(on the subject of Bhagvadgeetha) ‘punyakoti,( folk work) ‘celebration of grace’ (on the subject of women empowerment) ,‘Shiva Sharane Mahadevi’(vachana sahitya) ’Sapta Taandava’,’Dharma Vijayam’ &(Mythology & epics) ‘Vasudaiva Kutumbakam’(on the subject of climatic change).
Numerous students of Mithra Naveen have come out with flying colors with a degree of ‘vidwat’, ‘Rangapravesham’ and also have been certified as graded artists of Doordarshan and also have been identified as skilled full individual dancers of caliber.
